Check optimized parameters against their bounds

check_bounds_opt.Rd

Identify which elements of an nlminb solution sit at or within tol of their lower or upper bound.

Usage

check_bounds_opt(opt, bounds, tol = 0.001)

Arguments

opt

A list returned by nlminb, containing element par.

bounds

A data.frame of parameter bounds, as returned by get_bounds, with columns par, lower, upper.

tol

Numeric tolerance for considering a parameter to be at its bound. Default 1e-3.

Value

A data.frame with one row per parameter at a bound, giving par, value, lower, upper, and which bound ("lower" or "upper") it is at. Zero rows if none are at a bound.
