Evaluate expected one-year increments at two release lengths and return their ratio on both natural and log scales. This isolates curve shape from the absolute growth rate and is used for juvenile-growth prior information.

Usage

get_growth_shape_contrast_linf(linf, k, gshape, lengths = c(30, 40), tau = 1)

Arguments

linf

Asymptotic length Linf (mm).

k

Generalized growth rate K (per year).

gshape

Generalized growth shape gamma.

lengths

Two increasing release lengths (mm), conventionally 30 and 40 mm tail width.

tau

Elapsed time in years.

Value

A list containing the two increments, their ratio, and log ratio.
