Convert Francis reference increments to generalized Linf/K parameters

Convert a valid Francis reference-increment parameterization to the equivalent generalized asymptotic-length parameterization. Combinations without a positive finite rate and asymptote return NA for linf and k.

Usage

growth_francis_to_linf(ga = 50, gb = 80, galpha, gbeta, gshape)

Arguments

ga

lower reference length (mm).

gb

upper reference length (mm).

galpha

expected one-year increment at ga (mm).

gbeta

expected one-year increment at gb (mm).

gshape

shape parameter gamma.

Value

A list containing linf, k, gshape, and valid.
