Arguments

first_yr

An integer scalar, model start year.

first_yr_catch_f

An integer vector of length 6, first catch year for each fishery.

sel_min_age_f

A numeric vector of length 6, minimum selectivity age by fishery.

sel_max_age_f

A numeric vector of length 6, maximum selectivity age by fishery.

sel_change_year_fy

A numeric matrix of dimensions \[6, n_year\], selectivity change indicators.

sel_change_sd_fy

A numeric matrix of dimensions \[6, n_year\], selectivity change standard deviations.

sel_smooth_sd_f

A numeric vector of length 6, smoothness penalty standard deviations.

par_sels_init_i

A numeric vector, initial selectivity parameters (log-scale).

par_sels_change_i

A numeric vector, selectivity change parameters (log-scale).

sel_fya

A numeric array of dimensions \[n_fishery, n_year, n_age\], selectivity values.

Value

A numeric vector of length 3 containing: change penalty, smoothness penalty, and initial mean penalty.
